Misty is a Goman Express 30 with a long history on Lake of the Woods. Her present owners bought her in 1991 off the original owner, and had the joy of removing the original plastic from much of her sail inventory – Essentially although they were the second owners, she truly hadn’t been used by the originals.

Since then she has provided 3 generations of lasting memories exploring all of the incredible Lake Of the Woods, and has shown her exceptional build quality by easily sailing through innumerable storms on the Big Traverse, and ghosting her way past many a C&C in light airs.

Misty is the perfect family racer cruiser for those on a budget. She is setup with a very strong, yet capable sail plan, and powered by the most reliable of inboards, a Yanmar diesel (2 GM, 15 h.p.). In 2010 she underwent a complete inventory, right down to re-bedding the keel. Her interior has been modified from the original layout to provide a welcoming space in the main cabin to hang out, while still maintaining the ability to sleep 3 couples on double beds.

With a PHRF of 138, she’ll do well in any regattas, and with her spacious cockpit and ample foredeck she provides endless quality family fun! Whether you are a first time buyer looking for a boat that will be simple to run, and yet have the legs to carry you many years into your sailing adventure, or you’re an experienced sailor who wants a solid, low maintenance boat that is great for the whole family, Misty is the Vessel for you!
